San Francisco-born Charity and the JAMband play their family music jams: funky grooves, sing-alongs and songs that each come with dance moves, so young children can jump in and dance in front of the stage. Organizers invite everyone to come dressed in their best costumes. The concert is two hours, noon to 2 PM, and is free and open to all. The Bandshell sits between the de Young and the California Academy of Sciences, so it pairs easily with a museum visit or a walk to the playground. The outdoor seating is benches and open concourse; bring layers in case of fog. ## Similar picks in San Francisco - [Crazy Crafts and Costume Contest (Halloween, Dublin Library)](https://grassyknees.com/san-francisco/activities/crazy-crafts-and-costume-contest-halloween-dublin-library--listing-74810970a56a84df69fc4dc3) — Sat, Oct 31 · 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM · Alameda County Library – Dublin Library · All ages · checked Oct 13.
