A special $35 opening-night ticket buys a place among the first skaters of the season, along with on-ice performances and a visit from Olympian Kristi Yamaguchi, whose name the rink carries. The rink is new for this season under an overhead canopy, so the evening goes ahead even if the weather turns. Tickets are sold online through the rink's ticket site, and all sales are final. Regular 90-minute public sessions start the same week and run through January 3, and the next morning Yamaguchi helps lead a beginner skating clinic for children 5 and older. ## Similar picks in San Francisco - [Kristi Yamaguchi Skating Clinic for Kids 5+ — City Center Bishop Ranch Ice Rink](https://grassyknees.com/san-francisco/activities/kristi-yamaguchi-skating-clinic-for-kids-5-city-center-bishop-ranch-ic--listing-0ea494b1529561b32f765944) — Sat, Nov 7 · 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM · City Center Bishop Ranch – Kristi Yamaguchi Holiday Ice Rink, San Ramon · Ages 5+ · From $60 · checked Oct 27.
