San Francisco Recreation and Parks brings its Mobile Rec van to Rochambeau Playground in the Richmond District for a free day of non-traditional recreation. Mobile Rec typically sets up a rock-climbing wall, skateboarding on Fresh Park ramps, rails and manual pads, disc golf and lawn games, and sometimes sea kayaking, with equipment trucked to parks and playgrounds across the city on Saturdays. Drop in any time from 10 am to 4 pm. It suits school-age kids who want to try climbing or skating without buying gear; younger siblings can use the playground.
