## About

San Lorenzo Library's Science Lab is a hands-on science hour led by teen volunteers for kids aged 6 to 12. In this session, children explore magnets and simple engineering: they design, build, test and play their own magnetic fishing game, adjusting it until the fish bite. It is a good fit for curious grade-schoolers who like to tinker, and the teen leaders make it feel informal. Supplies are limited: tickets are handed out at the start of the program, so arrive a few minutes early. It meets in the library's Greenhouse Community Room. An ASL interpreter or captioning can be arranged with seven business days' notice.
