## About

In this Teen Takeover at Union City Library, teen volunteers from the Shine4Love Teens Club run a STEM workshop about life under the sea. Through games, puzzles and short teen-led lessons, children explore the ocean's zones, unusual sea creatures and bioluminescence, then make a glowing anglerfish craft to take home. Teen Takeovers let local teens plan and lead their own library program under the supervision of teen librarians, so it also suits older kids who might want to volunteer. Space is limited: tickets go to the first 15 children at each of two sessions, at 2 PM and 3 PM, first come, first served. Captioning or an ASL interpreter is available with seven days' notice.
