A hands-on Oaxacan folk-art workshop by Balam Arts, led by artists Carolina Argote and Jose Virelas: participants paint their own copal-wood alebrije (brightly colored fantastical animal figure) while learning about Zapotec traditions and Día de los Muertos. For children 6–11 and teens 12–18. The feed lists a capacity of 15. The same workshop runs at Woodside (10/19), East Palo Alto (10/28) and San Carlos (10/29).
