Tule is a plant Ohlone Peoples traditionally used, and still use, for housing material, sleeping mats, cordage and boats. In this drop-in program at the Coyote Hills Visitor Center, children build their own miniature tule boat and test how well it floats and carries cargo. Ages 5–12 years; parent participation required.
