It starts at 4 p.m. with an outdoor show by children's musician Andy Z at the Campus Entrance (bring a blanket or mat to sit on), followed by a costume parade through the first floor with the option to continue past trick-or-treat stations up to the third floor; escalators and elevators are available. Afterward each child can pick a free book and try a Scavenger Haunt in the Children's Room. Costumes are welcome but not required. Best for kids up to about age 10 and their families. ## Similar picks in San Jose - [Trick-or-Treat The Row Halloween Family Festival at Santana Row](https://grassyknees.com/san-jose/activities/trick-or-treat-the-row-halloween-family-festival-at-santana-row--listing-de0d594abceffee38c55b69a) — Tue, Oct 27 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM · Santana Row · Free · checked Oct 24.
