## About

Movement Santa Clara is a bouldering gym a few miles from where the company (formerly Planet Granite) opened its first gym in 1994. Its 10,000 square feet of bouldering walls carry nearly 200 problems, from easy routes for first-timers to hard ones for experienced climbers, and there is a dedicated kids' climbing area, so families can climb together without ropes or belay certification. A child day pass for under-13s costs less than an adult pass. Weekday mornings and early afternoons, and weekend afternoons and evenings, are usually the quietest times. The gym also runs drop-off Kids Climb Time sessions, after-school classes, school-break camps and youth climbing teams. It is across the street from Home Depot, near the 59 bus, with free car and bike parking.
