## About

Each Sunday in November, Milpitas Library sets up a new hands-on science experiment for kindergarten to second graders to do alongside a parent or caregiver. The sessions are self-paced and child-led, with the grown-up guiding the activity. Themes pair a story with a science idea: The Lost Key (magnets and magnetism) on Nov 1, The Redwoods (redwood trees and their roots) on Nov 8, A House for Bear (building materials and their properties) on Nov 15, and The Wilted Plant (plants and capillary action) on Nov 22.
