Families get up close with cows, pigs, chickens, goats and sheep, ask questions, and learn what it takes to care for the animals and why they matter to the farm; the tour may also visit the garden and its homemade compost. Tours meet at the Welcome Kiosk by the main parking lot and walk dirt, gravel and woodchip paths into the animal pens, so wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather.
