Live American Sign Language interpreters sign the spoken performance, and the theater holds a block of seats with clear sightlines to both the interpreters and the stage for patrons who book through the ASL ticket link. The same performance is audio described by describer Lynne Compton: a headset narrates the unspoken action of the play, and it is free to pick up from a front-of-house team member before the curtain. The production is Seattle's long-running staging of Dickens's ghost story, now in its 51st season, a 90-minute show with no intermission in the Allen Theatre. The theater recommends it for ages 5 and up and warns of images that may frighten young children, loud noises, fog and strobe lights. Captioning tablets and assistive-listening neckloops can also be reserved through the box office, and sensory bags with headphones and fidgets are available at the Accessibility table. ## Similar picks in Seattle - [Sensory-Friendly Performances — A Charlie Brown Christmas at Taproot Theatre](https://grassyknees.com/seattle/activities/sensory-friendly-performances-a-charlie-brown-christmas-at-taproot-the--listing-749287624269b5725d86b7c4) — Fri, Dec 11 (+1 more date) · Taproot Theatre — Isaac Studio Theatre · All ages · sensory-friendly · checked Oct 27.
