The bestselling Bakery Dragon is back, braving a snowstorm to deliver cookies and cheer, just in time for Christmas! And a friend in need requires the greatest cookie of all, one that can warm even the coldest heart. ‘Tis the season for cookies! As the holidays approach, Ember the dragon is on delivery duty, traveling across the land to bring cookies to one and all. When a snowstorm blows him off course, Ember tumbles down a giant’s chimney and meets his toughest customer yet. The curmudgeonly giant dislikes both Christmas and cookies, but especially Christmas cookies. Can Ember bake a cookie delicious enough to change his mind? From the bestselling author of The Bakery Dragon comes a cozy tale of sweet treats given with love, and the power of kindness to bring us together. Join Page 2 Books at the Burien Library for an afternoon with beloved author-illustrator Devin Elle Kurtz to celebrate the release of The Bakery Dragon and the Giant Cookie, out October 6th! Doors will open at 3:30. The free author talk starts at 4:00 and will include behind-the-scene sketches, a read aloud, and a signing. Copies of all The Bakery Dragon books will be available to purchase at the event. Questions?
