Tacoma Art Museum with Mi Centro

The 22nd annual Día de los Muertos Festival at Tacoma Art Museum, presented with Mi Centro: community ofrendas (altars) by local artists and community members, a traditional tapete sand painting by artist René Julio, live music and dance performances, hands-on art-making for all ages, and food and local artisan vendors. Admission is free (pay what you can), but registration for a free timed-entry slot is required; once inside you may stay as long as you like. Masks covering the entire face are not allowed; face paint may cover no more than half the face. Free parking behind the museum is limited. Full schedule to be posted.
