Come celebrate and learn about Diwali, the Festival of Lights! We'll read a story about Diwali before working on a community art project - a giant rangoli to be displayed in the library. Kids and families will also receive a diya magnet kit to decorate at the library or at home. Just Two Moms is a small business co-founded by two Mercer Island moms, Avantika Sinha and Abhilasha Parida, creating screen-free, hands-on DIY craft kits and make-and-take activities for kids and families. Recommended for kids ages 3+ Registration not required. While supplies last - materials and space are limited. Sponsored by the Friends of the Mercer Island Library. Held at the Mercer Island Library (King County Library System), November 1, 2026.
