Seattle Children's Museum's Halloween Museum Takeover for children of all ages, with potion making, pumpkin decorating with melted crayons, glow slime, sensory bins, and printmaking and storytelling art-and-culture activities. Community partners: an author meet-up with Third Place Books (11:00 AM–2:00 PM), Snakes and Science (1:00–3:00 PM) and family music from Mr. Bri Guy & The Radio Flyers (3:00–4:00 PM). Costumes are encouraged. The museum's visit page states that on Museum Takeover days such as Fall Fest on October 17, regular admission tickets are not accepted and guests need event-specific tickets.
