The newly designed window features a model train and some Seattle-themed surprises, in the spirit of the downtown holiday train windows many local families remember. Because it is a street-facing shop window, it can be seen at any hour from November 27 through January 3, which makes it a quick stop for toddlers and train-loving kids while shopping downtown or on the way to the Westlake Park tree and holiday carousel a block away. The DSA says the window is still being built and new photos will follow, so the details of this year's scene stay a surprise until it opens. ## Similar picks in Seattle - [North Pole Limited Santa Train – Northwest Railway Museum](https://grassyknees.com/seattle/activities/north-pole-limited-santa-train-northwest-railway-museum--listing-2b7615b8a0d61de54d760d98) — Sat, Nov 28 (+7 more dates) · North Bend Depot (Northwest Railway Museum) · From $39 · checked Oct 13.
