## About

January's winter-science Up and Atom STEAM Day at the Fern Hill Branch has kids mixing fluffy, moldable artificial snow from simple kitchen ingredients such as baking soda and conditioner. While they sculpt indoor snowmen, young learners explore chemical mixtures and how materials absorb moisture. The library describes it as high-sensory and low-mess. Listed for Grades K-5 and Grades 6-8 on a Tuesday after school; no registration shown.
