A winter-break drop-in hour of sensory play at the Lynnwood Library for toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers (anyone is welcome). Staff set up stations with materials children can touch, scoop, stack and move with, and kids go from station to station at their own pace. The library notes that sensory play builds motor and cognitive skills and language, and gives little ones a chance to play alongside others. No registration is needed; come any time between 10:30 and 11:30 am. Adults must supervise closely because some materials are choking hazards for young children.
