## About

A hands-on Sunday cooking class for one child aged 7 to 11 and a parent, framed as a friendly contest over who is the master chef and who is the sous chef. Kitchen Conservatory staff instructor Sheri Doe guides each pair through fresh fettuccine with grated parmesan and butter sauce, mini pizza quiches with pepperoni and mozzarella, herb-dough rolls shaped like porcupines, and cinnamon-apple twists. Children knead, shape and cook at the counter rather than watch, and the pair eats the results at the end of the two-and-a-half-hour session. A good pick for a winter weekend for kids who already enjoy helping in the kitchen.
