The Henry B. Plant Museum's Halloween event An Eerie Evening at the Tampa Bay Hotel runs October 22–24 and 29–31 from 6 to 9 PM. A local undertaker's spirit greets visitors in the moonlit Gilded Age hotel. Guests can watch the late-19th-century horror film Dracula and hunt for clues in the exhibit rooms to solve a mystery. Macabre items from the collection are on display, including mourning jewelry and hair wreaths, along with a suite about medicine during the era of tuberculosis and influenza. The event is intended for visitors ages 14 and up. Tickets are $25, or $20 for members.
