The stage program includes a holiday showcase by Live Oak Theatre plus local dance groups, school and church choirs, and roaming characters, and Patricia's Boutique stages its "Windows Come to Life" holiday window display. Arriving in the late afternoon gives children time for Santa and the market before the crowd gathers for the tree lighting after dark. The organizers describe it as a family-friendly kickoff to the season in downtown Brooksville. ## Similar picks in Tampa - [Tampa's Santa Fest Parade & Holiday Tree Lighting](https://grassyknees.com/tampa/activities/tampa-s-santa-fest-parade-and-holiday-tree-lighting--listing-09edce4a47eb4003393df5d5) — Sat, Dec 5 · 1:00 PM · Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and downtown Tampa parade route (Madison St / Ashley Dr) · All ages · Free · checked Oct 28.
