ZooTampa's education team hosts Reptile Awareness Day at Manatee Circle from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm as part of its Conservation Connections series. Visitors learn about the reptile species in the zoo's care and how they are protected at the zoo and in the wild, then join interactive activities. Kids who have a ZT Saves Kids' Club notebook or passport can bring it to collect the month's stamp, and this year the series introduces Flora the Explorer, a printable puppet. The series is aimed at inspiring children of all ages. The page does not list a separate fee, so regular zoo admission applies to visiting.
