The program is built around the familiar sounds of the season, the carols and holiday favorites that many local families treat as the start of Christmas, played by a full professional orchestra. A second night was added this year because of demand, so Thursday and Friday performances are both on sale. It is a good first orchestra concert for school-age children who know the songs, and the evening start suits families who can manage a full-length concert. Tickets are sold through the Straz Center box office and website; the event page does not list prices or age guidance, so check seating options when booking. The same concert series also plays other Tampa Bay venues, but this record covers only the Straz Center dates. ## Similar picks in Tampa - [The Nutcracker 2026 – Tampa City Ballet at New Tampa Performing Arts Center](https://grassyknees.com/tampa/activities/the-nutcracker-2026-tampa-city-ballet-at-new-tampa-performing-arts-cen--listing-36881ece1fe709bc17241cad) — Fri, Dec 11 (+5 more dates) · New Tampa Performing Arts Center · All ages · Paid · checked Oct 28.
