- Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg with Tarpon Springs Public Library
As part of its public library outreach, the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg brings a zine-making workshop to the Tarpon Springs Public Library for teens ages 12-18. Led by MFA docent specialist and multimedia artist Cato Galen, participants look at works from the museum's collection, talk about how art can spark storytelling, and then build a one-of-a-kind DIY booklet using accessible, hands-on techniques. No experience is needed. The one-hour workshop is free, with registration through the library website. The page also notes that Pinellas library cardholders can borrow free family passes to the MFA.
