Mark Shanahan's adaptation of Dickens's A Christmas Carol, directed by Steve Pacek, uses a spirited ensemble to tell Ebenezer Scrooge's story with warmth, humor and theatrical magic, as the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future show him the memories and mistakes that shaped him. It is a family holiday tradition for school-age children and up who can sit through a full play. Weekend matinees at 2 pm and evening shows at 7:30 pm run through December 23. Tickets are sold through Virginia Stage Company's box office. ## Similar picks in Virginia Beach - [NUTCRACKER!
