## About

An open-house afternoon in the Bay Lab inside First Landing State Park's Main Visitor Center, where families learn about the Chesapeake Bay through the animals that live in it. Children can play with a hands-on topographic sandbox and meet the park's diamondback terrapin animal ambassadors while rangers explain why the bay matters to Virginia. It is open to all ages, families can drop in any time between noon and 4 pm, and there is no registration or extra fee beyond standard park parking.
