About 90 parade units travel north from 15th Street to 25th Street: giant balloons, marching bands, lighted floats, horses, fire trucks, dance groups and motorcycles, with Santa at the end. The parade steps off at 5:30 pm and lasts about two hours, so families can find a curb spot anywhere along the ten-block route; arrive early for the front row and dress warmly for the ocean breeze. Free and open to the public. ## Similar picks in Virginia Beach - [Holiday Yule Log Bonfire & Holiday Marketplace](https://grassyknees.com/virginia-beach/activities/holiday-yule-log-bonfire-and-holiday-marketplace--listing-7bc3afed07a10c64ac781e7c) — Sat, Dec 5 · Town Point Park, Norfolk · All ages · Free · checked Oct 24.
