## About

Homeschool Garden Stewards: Pickling Vegetables explores the science behind pickling at Norfolk Botanical Garden. Students complete experiments with solutions to learn about solvents, solutes, mixtures and acidity, connecting kitchen chemistry with the garden. It is strictly recommended for homeschoolers ages 9 to 14, with younger children directed to other series. It suits kids who like experiments and food science. All children and adults need pre-registered tickets, which include garden admission.
