Families can do shorter combinations from 0.5 miles, and the trail is graded easy to moderately hard with 215 feet of elevation change. Along the way are 14 large numbered wooden bridges, 13 footbridges, benches about every quarter mile, and four overlooks (Monitor, Pinetree, Oaktree and Holly Tree).
