A two-hour drop-off history class for children aged 5 to 8 at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood. With a focus on harvest time, kids find out how farm families prepared for the changing seasons, preserved food and made the most of what they had, and learn the surprisingly lively history of hot cocoa. The class mixes stories with hands-on activities using real tools and techniques from the farm's past. Parents may stay or leave; dress for the weather and bring water.
