In 45 minutes toddlers and their caregivers share circle time, sensory activities and free play built around nature, moving at a relaxed pace suited to children who are just starting to walk and talk, and learning about the wonders of nature in a playful, age-appropriate way. The program is for ages 18 months to 3 years with a caregiver taking part. Registration is required and opened in August (Rockville residents first on August 11, general registration on August 13); the city listing does not print the fee, so check the registration system for cost and space. It is a gentle first outdoor-education class for families who want a weekday-morning activity with a toddler. ## Similar picks in Washington, DC - [Toddler Time at Clearwater Nature Center](https://grassyknees.com/washington-dc/activities/toddler-time-at-clearwater-nature-center--listing-3a51365ac453f4796f2b851d) — Tue, Nov 10 · 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM · Clearwater Nature Center, Clinton · From $4 · checked Oct 20.
