## About

Creative Cauldron's holiday tradition returns: a one-hour musical based on Ludwig Bemelmans' Madeline, with book and lyrics by Jennifer Kirkeby and music by Shirley Mier, directed by Matt Conner. On Christmas Eve in the old vine-covered house in Paris, Madeline's schoolmates and their tutor are all sick in bed and can't go home for the holiday, so brave, resourceful Madeline takes charge. The company recommends the show for ages 4 and up but leaves it to parents to judge whether a child can sit through an hour. The black-box theater is small, so arrive 30 minutes before curtain; free parking is in the Broad and Washington building garage.
