Expect a winter wonderland of dancing Snowflakes and Candy Canes, a Gingerbread House, battles between the heroic Toy Soldiers and mischievous Mice, the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Nutcracker Prince. The 4 p.m. start on the last weekend before Christmas suits families with younger children who would struggle with an evening curtain. ## Similar picks in Washington, DC - [Manassas Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker at the Hylton Performing Arts Center](https://grassyknees.com/washington-dc/activities/manassas-ballet-theatre-s-nutcracker-at-the-hylton-performing-arts-cen--listing-337b7ca9f81796da5515556e) — Wed, Dec 16 (+7 more dates) · 7:30 PM · Hylton Performing Arts Center, Merchant Hall, Manassas · All ages · From $50 · checked Oct 27.
