Alpharetta kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of a 50-foot Christmas tree in Downtown Alpharetta on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. The tree-lighting ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. The evening includes live music, snow flurries and marshmallow roasting, and Santa and friends make a guest appearance. The event is free and goes ahead rain or shine. The performance schedule had not been announced yet. The city's Holiday Food Drive for the North Fulton Community Charities food pantry starts the same day and runs through December 14. Donations go in bins at city facilities or on wooden collection trees downtown.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read in a browser. The queued awesomealpharetta.com page showed a Cloudflare challenge, so the city's own Season of Celebration page and calendar entry were used. The calendar entry shows 5:00–8:00 p.m. GMT-5 and the page text says 5 to 8 pm, so the time is local. 2 Park Plaza is listed as Alpharetta City Hall in the site footer. Lat/lng from the city's own 'Link to Map'. Phone is City Hall's.
