On Halloween day, Saturday, October 31, 2026, children and tweens can stop by the Circulation Desk at the Scott Candler Library in Decatur during open hours to pick up a list of clues and hunt for the items around the branch. Kids who find everything on the list win a prize while supplies last. Parents are welcome to help younger children read the clues. It is a free, self-paced activity that fits around trick-or-treating plans — a short, costume-friendly stop for school-age kids. Funded by the DeKalb Library Foundation.
