Gwinnett County Public Library's Youth Services team takes storytime outdoors to the Lois Lane Pavilion at Alexander Park — the big pavilion by the larger playground off the Scenic Highway entrance — on Monday, October 26, 2026, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children ages 1 to 6 hear not-so-spooky Halloween stories and do fall-themed activities, and costumes are encouraged for kids and grown-ups alike. The library's Mobile Library will be there to check out books, and partners such as Building Babies Brains share early-literacy tips for parents. Free, and the playground next door makes it an easy morning outing.
