Round Rock ISD has a day off, and the library's Maker Kids series fills it with a process-art session in the second-floor Youth Program Space. Children create colourful abstract paintings using salt and watercolours, watching the paint spread through raised salt lines. The program is for ages 5 and up and lasts about 45 minutes. Space and supplies are limited and handed out first-come, first-served, so arrive a little early. Part of the library's Fall 2026 Maker Kids programs, which mix science, engineering, art and technology through hands-on projects.
