A one-hour family nature program about oak trees. A naturalist explains why a single oak can support some 2,300 different species, covers the benefits oaks bring and teaches how to identify them, and the session finishes with an acorn craft. It runs from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon and pre-registration is required. Good for families with school-age children who like a short walk, a bit of tree ID and a take-home craft.
