Whatever the weather, kids ages 6 to 12 can let off steam during winter break with an indoor 'snowball' fight at the Finksburg branch. No real snow is needed: the library supplies indoor snowballs for a 45-minute burst of active play in the large meeting room. It is a short, high-energy morning activity for school-age children who need to move during the holiday week. The listing does not mention registration. Parents of younger children should note the 6–12 age range.
