Families carve jack-o'-lanterns together at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum on Wednesday, October 21, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Bring your favorite carving knives; the museum supplies the pumpkins, paint, decorations and — as it points out — the messy clean-up. No carving experience is needed, and children who are too young for knives can paint and decorate instead. Registration is required at $36 per family ($26 for Historical Society member families).
