Wheaton Park District's youth theater stages Shrek JR, the junior version of the musical about an ogre whose swamp is invaded by banished fairytale misfits, his wisecracking donkey sidekick and feisty Princess Fiona. Performances run November 19–22 in the Memorial Room at Ray Morrill Community Center. Tickets are $10. A family-friendly show and a good first musical for younger children; the event page does not list showtimes, so check the ticket link.
