Mundelein Park and Recreation District offers a sensory-sensitive Santa visit on Wednesday, December 16, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Kracklauer Studio. It is designed for children and adults who need a quieter, slower-paced setting: soft lighting, minimal background noise and gentle décor, with Santa and his helpers taking time with each family for photos and wish lists, away from mall-style crowds. Families register for one time block (6, 6:30, 7 or 7:30 p.m.), and one registration covers the whole family; arrive at your scheduled time. An activity area gives children something to do while they wait their turn. Fees run $19–$25 depending on residency.
