The Streamwood Park District charters a holiday train on Sunday, December 13, 2026, with two departures from the Bartlett Train Station: 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 1:30–3:30 p.m. Each trip is a festive round-trip ride to Bensenville and back. On board, live carolers lead sing-alongs, there are holiday performances, the Grinch drops in to cause a little mischief, and Santa Claus makes an appearance to greet every passenger. It suits families with young children who have not ridden a train before as well as older kids who want a new holiday tradition. Seats are limited and registration is required through the park district; plan to arrive at the station early to board.
