The DuPage County Historical Museum's Santa Express is a special Metra train ride from the Wheaton Train Station. Santa travels through the car posing for photos and asking each family what they want for Christmas, with music and a story along the way. Afterward, families return to the museum for snacks, hot chocolate, crafts, holiday cartoons, a scavenger hunt and more Santa photos. Trains depart Thursday, December 10 at 9:45 a.m., Friday, December 11 at 9:45 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday, December 12–13 at 9:15 a.m.; departure times are subject to Metra confirmation. Tickets are $35 per person; everyone over 12 months needs a ticket. As of the visit, the Friday, Saturday and Sunday trains were sold out and only the Thursday train still had tickets.
