Carol Stream Park District's Polar Express trip leaves from the Roselle train station on Sunday, December 6. Families ride a train to the "North Pole" in Elgin to pick up Santa, who then visits with families on board and delivers the first gift of Christmas. Back at the station, children can visit with Santa, enjoy festive refreshments and receive a special Christmas keepsake. There are two trips: the 9 to 11 am trip is already sold out, and a second trip runs from 1 to 3 pm. A parent or guardian must accompany children, parking is available, and the fee is charged per person, though the amount is not shown on the listing.
