On Sunday, December 6, families in their holiday best or pajamas check in with 'Elf Ticket agents' at Pioneer Park for a Polar Express story time, then ride the Holly Jolly Trolley with a Polar Express conductor to Arlington Lakes Golf Course. There, children meet Santa in the Hearth Room, take photos at the Elfie Station and enjoy hot cocoa and cookies before riding the trolley back. The event runs in time slots between about 4:45 and 8 p.m.; register for your preferred slot through the park district.
