For the Monday school day off on November 2, Anderson Park District runs a supervised day trip for kids ages 9 to 12. The group travels in park district vehicles from the Anderson Parks RecPlex to Cincinnati Museum Center to walk through the brick dinosaurs of LEGO Jurassic World: The Exhibition and watch the king of the dinosaurs on the OMNIMAX screen. Drop-off and pick-up are at the RecPlex, and the trip runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each child packs a lunch; detailed trip information is emailed after registration. Registration is required and space is limited. The session price is $50 per Anderson resident and $60 per non-resident, and the park district notes the trip is subject to change.
