Great Parks of Hamilton County hosts a Halloween evening on the archery range at its Nature Center at The Summit in Roselawn. Participants aim at Halloween-themed targets while seasonal tunes play, and they are encouraged to come in their favorite costume. The session is meant to build archery confidence, and all gear is provided, so no one needs to own a bow. It runs from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27. The listed age is 8 and up, which suits older elementary kids, tweens and teens; adults fall within the age range too. The fee is $10, and sign-up is through Great Parks' online registration (WebTrac activity EEDU0075), linked from the program listing. The nature center, at 1580 Summit Road, is Great Parks' neighborhood exploration station, known for hands-on projects, themed activities and live animal encounters.
