NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador Carol Abbott explains what it takes for people to live on the International Space Station: regular resupply missions, recycling air and water, and protection from cosmic radiation. She also looks ahead to what long voyages to the Moon and Mars would require. The evening talk suits curious kids, tweens, teens and adults and takes place Thursday, Jan. 14, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Meeting Room A.
